The manifestation of the EarlyBird256 Community Center

The students are showing up in numbers whenever we have an event and we are grateful for that. With our mantra of #doinglittlethingswithpassion, we will continue equipping the space with resources that will help our students perform better in schools as well as their communities.

We want this to be a safe space for the children to know that they are supported. A space to laugh, speak their truth, learn their worth, process and understand their feelings. Most importantly, this space serves as a reminder that they are not alone.

Job shadow visit to Kamuli’s KBS Radio Station

We invited five students from the current Rev. Nayenga Candidate class to do a job shadow at a local KBS Radio Station in Kamuli. These five students scored the top results in their EarlyBird practice exams, so they were rewarded with a tour and lunch at the radio station. We welcome future collaborations with any Ugandan business or organization that is willing to invite our students over for a job shadow. The EarlyBird256 scholarship impact: Mary Namulondo’s story

At EarlyBird256, we strive to not only show our students that they are loved and supported, but also empower them to pursue their dreams and write their own futures. We show them that they have the ability to create with their hands, and we teach them how that can help them financially to achieve their goals. As a result, most of the students have their own projects or “side hustles” — such as farming, raising livestock, or helping a parent run a shop — and part of our work is to help them thrive with their side projects as well as in school.
